20 swim records smashed

TRITONS Swim Club smashed 10 records at the 2010 Pacific Sun National Age Group Short Course Championships at the Nadi Sports Club last Sunday.

They took the first place with 55 gold, 21 silver and 21 bronze medals beating defending champions, Makos who came in second place with 34 gold, 49 silver and 44 bronze...

Seven clubs took part in the competition....

Stingrays' Maka Faktaufon set a new 200m time.

Barracudas Selena Truscott ripped the Girls 9-10 years 50m and 100m Breaststroke with Toma Pene of the Babales Club also breaking the 800m Freestyle for the same category...

Freestylist, Tongli Panuve of Tritons made a new record for the 11-12 age 1500m with Babales Lui Pene setting another in the 200m Butterfly and 400m Individual Medley.

Tritons Tieri Erasito shattered the 15-16 age category 200m and 400m Freestyle for the girls and in the boys, Paul Elaisa, also of Tritons, made a new time in the 200m Butterfly event.
