Vula Dakuitoga has put his hope on Eastern State Blues dummy half Jason Tigarea to stir his side to another victory today.

The Vanua State of Origin clash between the Blues and the West Maroons at Churchill Park in Lautoka this weekend.

Vula commended the Rotuman lad for his braveness to be one of the best hookers in rugby league in Fiji.

"He might be the only Rotuman in the side but he is one of the most outstanding players that I can rely on," Dakuitoga said.

While praising Tigarea for his ability to play against the Maroons' big players, the former Fiji Bati player and coach said, he had been watching the USP Islanders player for a long time and said he had a bright future ahead of him.

"He possesses great leadership skills, his line of attack is perfect, he is a good tackler and good with his deliveries and vision on the field," Dakuitoga said.

"He is quiet but does his talk during the game.

"I admire him because he did not let his being the only Rotuma player in the side to affect his play.

In the first clash at the ANZ Stadium the Blues won 10-8.
