Wilson Inia Day

The theme of Wilson Inia Day this year was "Honouring Teachers" and the guests of honour were retired primary and high school teachers in Rotuma. The keynote address was by former principal of Rotuma High School, John Tanu. Reviewing of the cadet parade was former assistant principal, Tausie Fasala. Retired teachers present included Mrs Fauoro Olsen, Mr Frank Mama‘o, Mrs Misau Onisimo, and Mrs Ela Fasala. Dignitaries present included the district officer, district chiefs, matas, school board members, and civil servants.
The agenda for the day included the following events:

- The life of Wilson Inia (Margaret Gabriel F6 student)
- Devotion – Rev. Visoni Tomasi
- Keynote address – Mr John Tanu
- Principals Address - Mr Perry Gabriel
- Board of Governors address – Gagaj Kausiraf
- Managers address – Mr Kava Mema‘ofa
- Rotuma High School cadet corps
- Pass out parade – Mr Tausie Fasala

- Best Female cadet – Jacqueline Vitori (Form 7)
- Best Male cadet – Anthony (Form 7)
- Best platoon – Platoon no.1 Solmafua (Red House)
- Variety items by all levels
- Rugby final Seniors – Blue vs Black; Winner – Blue house
- Rugby final Juniors – Red vs Green; Winner – Red house
- Netball Seniors – Paho vs Solroroa; Winner – Paho
- Netball Juniors – Paho vs Solroroa; Winner – Paho
Sweets were provided to all students at the prize giving and Rotuma High School catered for lunch.
