SWEET ORANGES

Oranges in Rotuma are very sweet.
It gives our people their everyday treat.
Oh! How I wish that it may still be there,
as I heard it slowly disappear.
It is sad to hear the abundance and its sweetness
that nourishes the taste of our island people.
Oh Lord we need your loving hand
to restore this fruit back there again.

ROTUMA MY ISLAND HOME

White sandy beaches as white as snow
Sky blue Ocean sparkles as the sun goes low
Friendly people welcoming smiles
Makes everyday worth while
Oh! How I wish to visit my mother land
The island blessed by Gods loving hand
