The photo essay below is the tenth installment of a personal account of my two years in Fiji and Rotuma from October 1959 through August 1961. The main purpose of this project is to provide photographic images that might be of interest to contemporary Rotumans.

Episode 10: Young Women
While on Rotuma I enjoyed taking photos of people. I guess I found the Rotuman people the most attractive in looks and manners that I had ever encountered. This applied not only to the young women depicted here, but to older women, young and older men as well (subsequent installments will include photos of some of them).
