Graham Dewes (Marist), Tomasi Soqeta (Taranaki), Vesi Rauluni (Morrinsville) and Michael Tagicakibau (Taranaki) make up a contingent of 13 overseas and 17 Fiji based players picked to represent Fiji at the Pacific 6 Nations in Apia. [Graham Dewes is the grandson of Iakopo and Milly Panapasa of Suva and great-grandson of Jotama and Kiji Panapasa of Noa'tau.]

Following the trials at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka, Head coach Ilivasi Tabua and his fellow selectors picked 10 uncapped players, including Taranaki No.8 Tomasi Soqeta, Western Force halfback Vitori Buatava, and New Zealand-based Graham Dewes and Vesi Rauluni.

Other overseas-based players selected included Alifereti Doviverata (capt), Epeli Ruivadra, Akapusi Qera, Kele Leawere and Netani Talei.

A squad of 24 will depart Nadi tomorrow evening at 10pm with the match against Samoa to start on Sunday 20th May at 2pm (Fiji time).
