Rotuma High savour victory in Maritime Zone

It was a sweet moment for Rotuma High School students today after they won the girl's division of the Maritime Zone.

Rotuma High who has come to take part in the Coca Cola games after 11 years won 6 gold and 1 silver medal in the girls division.

The seven students from Rotuma are in Suva for the past two weeks and are training under the guidance of coach, Bola Tafou.

Rotuma High school Manager, Afrete Mua said they have also been facing some difficulties in their stay in Suva, but help is coming through.

The Marist Rugby Club is also fundraising for the Rotuma High School athletes tonight at the Old Boys Club in Flagstaff.

Meanwhile, Gau Secondary School is the new champion of the Maritime Zone in the boys division winning with 6 gold, 6 silver, and 3 bronze medals.
